3-Month Karma Yoga / Seva / Volunteer Traditional Residential Course

This three-month Karma Yoga (Seva) course is rooted in the Gurukula–Āśrama tradition, inspired by the timeless teachings of Śrī Swami Śivānandaji Maharaj of Rishikesh.
It offers a complete immersion into the yogic way of life, emphasizing selfless service (seva), universal love, discipline, and inner transformation.

 Course Focus

Syllabus:
The course centers around Karma Yoga — the path of selfless service — lived and practiced through the daily rhythm of Āśrama life.
All seva activities are assigned and guided by Gurudev  Avadhutaji (  Sri Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati) and the Ashram Management; choices of work are not individual.

 Lifestyle & Discipline

  • Daily practice of Serve and Love through humble, selfless service
  • Simple, sattvic (pure vegetarian) diet
  • Lifestyle of simplicity, discipline, and mindfulness
  • Observance of silence, reverence, and gratitude
  • Devotion to the Guru–Śiṣya Paramparā (teacher-disciple lineage)

 Please Note: This is a strictly residential course.
All participants must uphold the Āśrama’s rules, discipline, and spiritual code of conduct.

Daily Schedule of Course except Sundays Holiday:

  • Day1: Arrival on Sunday between 3pm to 5PM and dinner at 7 pm.
  • From Day 2 Monday to Day 7 Saturday daily programmes.
  • 06.00 am …….get up / take bath shower and hot drink / Arati
  • 06.30 to 07.00am…… Arati/ Shivapuja/ Devi Puja
  • 07.00 to 09.00 am….  Personal Sadhana
  • 09.00 to 09.30.00 am….. Breakfast.
  • 10.00am to 01.00 pm….. Karma Yoga (cleaning upstairs corridor, helping yoga hall cleaning/ toilet/Bath cleaning/ own room cleaning )
  • 01.00 pm to 01.30pm…. Lunch
  • 01.30 pm to 03.00 pm……Free time or self study
  • 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm     Karma Yoga.
  • 06.30 to 07.30pm … .Temple Arati/Shivapuja/ Devi Puja/ Meditation
  • 07.30 to 08.00 pm … .Dinner
  • 08.00 pm to 8.45 pm Satsang/ Personal Sadhana
  • 8.45 pm Rest

  • Education: Graduation (any discipline)
  • Age: 18 – 40 years
  • Medium of Instruction: English
