Samarpan Kriya Yoga Diksha (initiation)
Kriya Yoga is a systematic secret Yogic practice transmitted from Guru to Disciple. This mystical path of Yoga, deals with the mind, Pranic energy, Kundalini Chakras and Mediation (Dhyana). Babaji Kriya Yoga is an ancient Yogic technique which leads to Atman Jnana and Self Enlightenment through Tapah, Swadhaya, and Iswarapranidhana.
What is Samarpan Kriya Yoga ?
Guruji Avadhuta Samarpanananda was initiated and practiced Babaji’s Kriya Yoga in the lineage of Lahiri Mahasaya since 2001. Later on, he later expanded and improved the techniques through his own experience to better suit his student’s needs and to achieve more consistent results in modern life.
Therefore, Samarpan Kriya Yoga consists of the original Kriyas from Babaji along with additional Kriyas based on Guruji’s own enlightenment and through his Guruji’s teachings following the tradition of Swami Sivanandaji. It also includes variations to fit the needs of students who have no previous background in yogic practices.
Traditional Shaktipat
Guruji Avadhuta Samarpananda offers Kriya Yoga initiation in the traditional way, from Guru to Disciple. This initiation is a form of Shaktipat (Energy Transmission) along with the instructions of how to perform the Kriyas. The Kriyas are kept secret and cannot be learned through books since their power lies beyond the academic understanding. They need to be learned from a true Master, because the Guru’s initial blessings and Shaktipat are the first Kriyas (action) which give life to your practice. Through the Guru’s presence and teachings you will also learn you how to do the practice with the right attitude, goal and understanding. A Guru will also help the aspirant discern if he or she is ready for Kriya Yoga and may recommend other spiritual practices according to your present situation and needs.
Kundalini Awakening
Guruji teaches Kriya yoga as a tool, a complement to your sadhana on the way to Enlightenment. He teaches us how to integrate Kriya Yoga with other yogic practices. Kriya Yoga alone will not take you to the highest Enlightenment. It mainly helps to awaken Kundalini and leads to Dhyana. To go deeper in Dhyana we need proper Vedic study; Jnana Yoga. We also need to free ourselves from Mala (impurities), Vikshepa ( distraction) and Avarana (the covering of Avidya (ignorance) which dulls the mind).
Common Misconceptions
Many people claim that Kriya Yoga is the only way to reach Enlightenment, and that you need no other practice to reach the goal. This is a misconception, and can misguide sincere aspirants who have not yet understood the many steps and challenges on the path. Keep in mind, Enlightenment comes through the grace of the Divine only ! We perform spiritual practices to purify the body, mind and intellect and to make ourselves eligible for Divine Grace. Kriya Yoga will often bring vision of lights, colours or Jyoti Darshan, although pleasant, those are manifestations of the mind, they are step stone on the path but not the final goal.
Program
Kriya Yoga initiations are conducted over a 3 days stay at Swami Samarpan Ashram during which you will receive Diksha, become an official disciple of Guruji, and practice the Kriyas you learned while taking part in the ashram lifestyle.
Price
Recommended Dakshina (Donation) : 301 Euro or euivalent to indian rupees
Dakshina is an Indian Vedic Ashram Tradition unknown or misunderstood in the west and around the world. Dakshina could be translated into loving offering made to the Guru after completing formal education. Traditionally, one would give according to his capacity, this is why we recommend a certain amount, but one can give as per their abilities. Our intention is to stay away from commercialising Spiritual Diksha (initiation), because the energy and practices can only be transmitted from an open heart to another open heart, it’s not something you can simply buy and go home with.
